What Do I Do?

There are many things that I say I do in my day to day life. I go on walks with my parents, I eat food, brush my teeth, watch TV (especially Netflix, Amazon Prime and Disney+ because I'm addicted). But you're not interested in that.

I do what I love.

I take time to read a chapter or two of a book every morning for at least an hour. If you'd like to see what I'm currently reading or have enjoyed in the past, head on over to my Goodreads profile at!

I'm also the founder of the literary blog Books 'Til Dawn, where I write in-depth book reviews and articles relating to books, reading and writing! Books 'Til Dawn is a community for avid book lovers and writers alike where you can sign up, join the community, text myself and fellow members and even post your ideas and thoughts on the forums! Now, as you probably all know by now, I love to write. I spend hours writing every single day ranging from character profiles for my current book and future books to come to outlining chapters in detail as a first draft and continuing on to rewrite and edit them as I go along. Many people ask me how I do it. One question I'm often asked is "But Lauren, how do you come up with these stories and develop them enough to turn them into books?" My answer is always the same.

"I just do."

I love to write. I love to tell stories. I love to create these characters who seem all too real to me. I don't know how I do it, but I can definitely say that my love for writing and telling stories definitely has something to do with it. Writing is a part of me - a part of who I am.

So, what do I do?

The answer? Many things.

I read, I write, I watch TV (I'm currently stuck into Bones right now. If you haven't watched it yet, I'd recommend you give it a go), I listen to music, and I spend time with my family. I also pine over not being able to see my dogs or my boyfriend because of restrictions, but that's just because I'm a big sap!

So yep, that's me!
